Day One
Well today my parents had the day off, so I decided to clean the kitchen for them. It wasn't much, but it was just one less thing they had to take care of.
Day Two
My mum was looking a little stressed today, so I made her a mug of tea. After all, it's the little things that count.
Day Three
Workin' hard.
Day Four
This is something good for both me and my parents. They don't have to worry about me so much and I will stay nice and toasty.
Day Five
Today I'm giving a shoutout to the best parents in the world. For an average child, they would be great, but considering the fact that they put up with a kid like me makes them amazing. We've been through a lot as a family and they always pull through, not for themselves, but for their kids. I couldn't ask for a better set of parents.
PS this is a really outdated photo. It's like pulling teeth to get these two in a decent picture, but I still love 'em!

Day Six
Once again my parents worked all day. While they were gone I tidied up the house. I vacuumed, emptied the dishwasher, and straightened up the general living areas. I've been doing some thinking about what to do for them, and so far I've decided to write them notes describing why I love them, make them supper, breakfast in bed, and that's about where I draw a blank. I'm gonna have to turn to Riley for some more ideas, wish me luck!
Day Seven
Getting creative with the love letters.
Day Eight
Both me and my parents were very busy today, so I took a minute to give them a big hug.
Day Nine
Just doing the dirty work for my parents. I've always hated taking out the garbage, especially in the dead of a winter night. I'm sure they appreciated it, and my mom got a good laugh about my "hat."
Day Ten
Today I washed and folded ALL my parents laundry. It was quite the undertaking, but I got it done.
Day Eleven
Today I gave my parents a proper goodnight. It wasn't my usual, "See ya." I gave them a whole spiel about how much I love them. It's something I'm trying to make a habit of. You never know how much time you'll get with someone, so it's good to let them know you care.
Day Twelve
MOVIE NIGHT WITH MOMMA!
I watched The Green Mile with my momma accompanied by my accountability buddy, Riley, and some delicious hot coco. It was nice to just spend time with my favorite woman, especially since I rarely see her.

Day Thirteen
Waaaaay too tired to get out of bed, but I got it done like a champ. I emptied the dishwasher like a ninja so my parents woke up to a nice clean kitchen.
I am not a morning person... at all.
Day Fourteen
Day Fifteen
I've been super busy today, so I thought it would be nice to make my mum some hot chocolate and sit down to have a nice conversation with her.
Day Sixteen
Day Seventeen
Clean, clean, clean. Seems to make my parents happy to come home to a clean house.
Day Eighteen
I'm pretty much the designated popcorn maker. My parents seem pretty crazy for popcorn, so it is an easy thing to do that makes them happy.
Day Nineteen
I tagged along an a semi ride (for work) with my dad. It was soooo cold, but we had good conversation and got some coffee afterwards. It's the little moments together that make us happy.
Day Twenty
I went out for breakfast with my parents. I didn't cover the whole bill, but I reimbursed them with twenty dollars and it was really nice to sit down over a nice meal and share a few laughs.
